Take YE4-132S2-2 as an example: YE4 is the motor model, Y represents an asynchronous motor, and E4 indicates IE4 high efficiency; 132 is the center height; S is the frame length code; 2 is the core length code; 2 is the number of motor poles.

Motor Overview

The YE4 series (IP55) ultra-high efficiency three-phase asynchronous motors (frame numbers 80~355) (hereinafter referred to as: motors) produced by Xi'an Simo Motor are low-voltage fully enclosed self-fan cooled ultra-high efficiency squirrel-cage three-phase asynchronous motors whose efficiency meets the IE4 efficiency requirements in the latest version of the international standard IEC 60034-30 "Efficiency classes of single-speed three-phase cage-type induction motors". Their efficiency values fully meet the requirements of Energy Efficiency Class 1 in the national standard GB18613 "Energy efficiency limits and energy efficiency grades for small and medium-sized three-phase asynchronous motors", which is currently the highest efficiency standard globally. The efficiency is determined by the loss analysis method of measuring input-output power (in accordance with the provisions of 11.3 in GB/T 1032-2012).

The mounting dimensions and power ratings of the motors comply with IEC international standards and are consistent with the German DIN42673 standard. The enclosure protection level is IP55, the cooling method is IC411, and the duty is continuous (S1). It adopts an F-class insulation structure, but the temperature rise of the entire series is evaluated according to Class B; and the load noise is required to be evaluated.

The rated voltage of the motor is 380V, the rated frequency is 50Hz, and the power range is 0.75~375kW, including 2-pole, 4-pole, and 6-pole motors. Motors with a power of 3kW and below use the Y connection method, and other powers use the Δ connection method.

The frame numbers of H80~160 have a fully enclosed bearing structure, and the frame numbers of H180 and above have an open bearing structure. The front and rear bearings are equipped with a non-stop lubrication device. The motor is equipped with anti-condensation drainage holes. The conventional terminal box of the motor has a top outlet, and it can also be made into a right-side outlet or a left-side outlet according to user requirements. The terminal box can be rotated by 90° and 180°, which is convenient for users to have outlets in different positions.

Application of High-efficiency Energy-saving Motors

The Xi'an Simo YE4 series ultra-high efficiency energy-saving three-phase asynchronous motors are mainly applied in various fields of the national economy, such as machine tools, water pumps, fans, compressors, and can also be suitable for various power transmission systems in transportation, mixing, printing, agricultural machinery, food, etc.

Operating Conditions of the Motor

1. The altitude does not exceed 1000m.
2. The ambient temperature: -15~40℃.
3. The working mode: continuous duty (S1).
4. The rated voltage is 380V or 660V, the rated frequency is 50Hz, the allowable variation range of the rated voltage is ±5%, and the allowable variation range of the rated frequency is ±1%.
5. The motor is driven by a coupling.
6. The enclosure protection level of the motor is IP54 (see GB/T4942.1).
7. The cooling method of the motor is IC411 (see GB/T1993).

1. When placing an order, please refer to the product catalog first to determine the model specifications and other data of the required product. Try to select the standard specification products listed in the catalog. Please indicate the motor model, power, speed regulation, voltage, frequency, noise, and installation type in the order contract. If the noise level is not specified, it will be supplied as level 2.
2. For 2-pole motors with a power of 5.5kW and above and 4-pole motors with a power of 37kW and above, belt drive cannot be used.
3. If there are no special requirements, the default parameters of Simo Motor are: the installation method is horizontal B3, the insulation class is Class B, and the protection level is IP44.
4. If there are special requirements, such as double shaft extension, reverse terminal box position, reverse rotation of the shaft, requirements to be made into a wet tropical type, outdoor anti-corrosion type, or others, they need to be clearly indicated in the contract and contact our factory in advance.
