A special liquid resistance with the functions of voltage division and current limiting during starting is connected in series to the stator circuit of the motor. During the starting process, the resistance value of the liquid resistance automatically changes steplessly from large to small within the preset time. When the resistance value approaches zero, the liquid resistance is automatically cut off, and the motor is put into operation.
- The starting current is small, which is 1.5 to 3.5 times the rated current of the motor.
- The starting process is smooth without impact, ensuring the reliable operation of the power grid, effectively protecting the motor and transmission machinery, and extending the service life of the equipment.
- It can be started continuously 5 to 7 times, and its starting performance is better than that of starting with a series reactance cabinet or a thermal variable resistance.
